My favorite line from Obama's victory speech was this:
"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term. But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there."
And then everyone in the crowd chanted "Yes, you can!"
As an engineer, I know exactly what was going through his head at that moment: fear. He has bid his project, promised wildly optimistic results, and has won the contract. Now, the customers are going to expect him to make good on those promises.
He better be praying right now that the analysts are wrong.
